LETG: sunlight transformation. How it works.

LETG panel includes normal silicon photovoltaic cells which are specially preprocessed by proprietary technology to increase photovoltaic efficiency. In particular the preprocessing involves application of specific polymer coating on the photovoltaic cells. This polymer coating contains Stokes luminophors converting blue part of solar spectrum into area of maximal photovoltaic sensitivity.

 

 

LETG panel consists of preprocessed array of cells array mounted in plastic or glass shell. Array of cells is separated from shell by liqiud. This is a heat-tranfer liquid absorbing far infrared solar irradiation and cooling PV cells simultaneously. This liquid transfers heat from LETG panel to heat loads.

Elaborated luminescent polymer coating working as solar light transformer is able to increase energy conversion efficiency of normal silicon PV cells up to 16%.
