LETG panel specifications

Monofacial and bifacial LETG panel* dimensions:

Length - 0.985 m
Height - 0.45 m
Depth - 0.012 m
Panel area - 0.443 m2

Monofacial LETG panel output:

Nominal electric power (STC)** - 75…80 W
Thermal power - 200 W

Bifacial LETG panel output:

Nominal electric power (STC)** - 115…125 W
Thermal power - 340 W

*LETG panel contains 36 PV cells 100x100 mm2

**depends on efficiency of PV cells

STC - Standard Test Conditions:

Standard illumination1000 W/m2 calibrated by Fraunhofer standard cell Xenon short arc lamp with AM 1.5 Filter
Air-mass temperature25°C

Note: in LETG panels PV cells get cool by heat-tranfer liquid, therefore the peak electric power of LETG panels equals its operating electric power in distinction from normal solar PV panels.

LETG applications

Monofacial LETG panels are designed mainly for installation on the roofs of houses. Bifacial LETG panels are designed for installation on the ground or on flat roofs to use also solar light reflected from its surface or special reflectors.

Typical I-U / P-U curves of PV cell in LETG manufacturing process

I1(U) and P1(U) -curves of conventional silicon PV cell (original cell of third producer);
I2(U) and P2(U) -curves of the silicon PV cell after applying Luminescent Polymer Coating;
I3(U) and P3(U) -curves of the silicon PV cell covered by Luminescent Polymer Coating and encased in shell of LETG module;
MPP -Maximal Power Point.
